11.03 - PREJUDICE:
There is a prejudice in the mind to favour uniqueness as a result of
low ambiguity tolerance. The mind gets prejudiced towards perceiving
clear and simple images instead of understanding images which are unsymmetrical
and non-formal

- COGNITIVE STYLE:
Impulsivity and reflectivity are the two extremes of cognitive style.
When asked to match the familiar figure from a choice of 6, some people
seem to habitually "jump on" to the decision impulsively whereas
others do not respond until they have made the correct choice (reflective
type)
11.05
- FIELD DEPENDENCY:
This refers to an attitude of an individual for disembedding figures
from the context. Someone who finds words easily in words has considerable
field Independency. The field Independent people can spot things easily
in a real crowd.
11.06
- GENDER:
Female observers pay more attention to male figures in the picture and
vice versa. The woman observer focuses only on the head of the foreground
whereas the man focuses on both the head and the upper body of the female
figure. Female observers do not focus on house and field at all whereas
the man did. Gender causes differences in the interpretation of the
figure, that was more unlikely to be viewed as a brush is viewed as
comb by females (figure 7). Another figure which is viewed as a target,
is viewed as a dinner plate by females and the third figure which is
viewed as a head, is viewed as coffee cup by females.
