The retrospective analysis

The comparison of original two-dimensional sketch and a final work done on the carved surface, is totally different in visual character. Introduction of three-dimensional depths (actual) makes the work much penetrating compared to flat two-dimensional, otherwise well balanced and well-proportioned composition. However an attempt to color this work of Bas- relief might cause visual deterioration and the fragmentation of one homogeneous carved out mass.
